Shakti coils are used in pairs The coils must be used in pairs to get correct magnetic fields . The rule is: Opposites attract, and likes repel.        ......         ..   A pair of coils consist of two mono (plain) coils attached to another one. A pair of coils also consists of one North Pole, and one South Pole. You need two opposite poles to create a magnetic field. The coils with tape on the line or the ones marked with a minus sign ( - ) are south or negative. The ones with no tape on the line or the ones marked with a plus sign ( + ) are north or positive.   Two mono (plain) splitters attach to one more like this.  The coils plug in to the ones on top (shown here in side view)
